Lindsay (Owner) - My name is K.C., and I’m the proud owner of Fur Baby Comfort & Care, a professional pet sitting business that prides itself on providing peace of mind to Fur Baby owners. Eight years ago, I started this business after experiencing firsthand what it feels like to question the care your own fur babies are receiving. That experience opened my eyes to the gap between what pet parents are promised and what actually happens behind closed doors. What started with just three Pet Care Specialists has grown into an incredible team of 20+ people, but my “why” has never changed: providing the transparency, communication, quality care, and peace of mind every fur baby deserves. I’ll be the first to admit I’m particular about pet care. I ask a million questions, double-check everything, and notice the little things. I’d rather care “too much” than not enough. Although much of my job happens behind the scenes, I still LOVE being hands-on with the animals. And yes, I tell just about every fur baby that I love them and to have a good day when I leave their home. Behind the business is a real person, too. I value balance, boundaries, and being seen as K.C., not just the face of a company. I’m incredibly grateful for the clients, fur babies, and team members who have been part of this journey. Eight years in, I’m still learning, growing, and wearing one too many hats! A little about me outside of Fur Baby: I’m passionate about golf, always working to improve both physically and mentally. I’m also an avid reader (3–4 books a month!) and prioritize living a healthy lifestyle. I can’t wait to get to know you and welcome you to the Fur Baby family! https://www.furbabycomfortandcare.com/our-furbaby-team/iain-lindsay monthly 0.5 2025-10-19 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61302b92a07be215777b26fe/a92b9f68-f96a-45ab-adb5-599c3de0283d/X+Iain+Lindsay.jpg Our Team - Iain Lindsay (Mr. Fur Baby) - My name is Iain and I'm a Certified Professional Pet Care Specialist with Fur Baby Comfort & Care, a professional pet sitting company that prides itself on providing a peace of mind to Fur Baby owners. My love for animals runs deep and I’m a proud owner of three fur babies. Chloe, my energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, keeps me on my toes and I also have two cats: Cupid, who has a dog-like personality, and Nugget, who is a bit more reserved. They've both helped me understand and cater to the different needs of our feline friends. I know that some pets can be a little wary of male pet care specialists, so I make sure to approach them with patience and sensitivity, giving them time to warm up to new faces. As your trusted Pet Care Specialist, I’m committed to exceeding your expectations by providing personalized care for each pet’s unique needs. While I currently do not have any animals of my own at home, my mom has 2 dogs and 5 cats that I see and take care of on a regular basis. I also grew up in a multi-animal household, so I’ve always had experience with animals and some even call me the animal whisperer! Before joining the Fur Baby team, I was helping walk dogs and visiting my friends and family’s animals for many years. Now, I’ve been part of the Fur Baby Comfort & Care team for 6 years. I have a great deal of knowledge on all things animals, including body language, medication, and temperaments. My goal as a Pet Care Specialist is to give you an experience you’ve never had before. I strive to go above and beyond, making your experience with Fur Baby fun and engaging, but also giving you the peace of mind that your pet will always be safe in any scenario. I love to make updates come to life, so it feels like you’re reading small chapters of a book each day. No detail is too small and I love sending my clients videos of their animals to see the interactions with me live. Caring for animals has been a passion of mine for years. My experience includes dog training, animal behavior, leash manners, reactivity, dog walking, drop-in visits, and medical service dog training. I’m certified in Pet CPR, dog training, and pet nutrition. My background has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each animal’s individual needs. I’m calm, confident, and attentive, and I take pride in making sure every pet feels safe and comfortable. I believe building trust starts with understanding each pet’s personality, respecting their boundaries, and paying attention to the little things that make them unique. Outside of work, my own dogs, including my medical service dog, are a big part of my life. I love learning about animal behavior and finding ways to help dogs feel confident, secure, and understood. When a client has me care for their pets, I want them to know they can always count on me to make sure their pets are safe, loved, and understood. To me, pet care is about more than meeting basic needs. It’s about building trust, providing companionship, and treating every pet with the same patience and care I would want for my own. I look forward to getting to know your pets and making their time with me a positive experience! https://www.furbabycomfortandcare.com/our-furbaby-team/category/Team+Member monthly 0.5 https://www.furbabycomfortandcare.com/about-us daily 0.75 2025-07-22 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61302b92a07be215777b26fe/1630561583983-5T0TXHHBBE6SUK2OOCIA/chloe.jpeg About Us - Our Inspiration Fur Baby Comfort & Care was inspired by the owner’s rescue dog, Chloe. A German Shorthaired Pointer who came from a kenneled life, Chloe had to learn to overcome her fears of the real world. Our variety of services stem from a real-need for Chloe and many other animals who require a friendly-face, loving touch and, of course, the utmost comfort and care. We just got back from a 5 day vacation to Tennessee for my sister’s wedding, and we hired Fur Baby Comfort & Care to care for 2 dogs and 2 cats. The Pet Care Specialist they were sending was going to basically move in for the time we were gone, so naturally we were a little unsure. When our Pet Care Specialist showed up, our minds were immediately put at ease. While we were gone, she sent multiple daily pictures and updates, took care of our garden, brought in our mail and trash can, cleaned up the house, picked up all the number twos in the yard, took care of the litter box, and loved our animals like her own. We even came home to a gift of a candle, dog treats and a super cute picture of the pups in a cute frame! We were blown away at the professionalism of the company and this individual who took such amazing care of our animals and home. Not once did I worry about what was going on back home. Five stars from us! HIGHLY Recommended this company. We have used them in the past for drop in visits as well and not one time were we disappointed.” — Michelle https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61302b92a07be215777b26fe/1631588675279-9ZRVGWUJLOS3W28ZDP9A/public.jpeg Testimonials - “Fur Baby Comfort & Care provides excellent services! It was worth the money spent to have a professional Pet Care Specialist take care of our dogs and pet taxi them to our venue for our photos. The piece of mind was priceless! We knew our dogs were well taken care of and were comfortable in our own home. Our Pet Care Specialist was so communicative and sent so many photos and videos throughout the day and night. She also left us a personalized wedding gift of our dogs which was so thoughtful and was above and beyond customer service. Absolutely 100% recommend this company.” — Haley https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61302b92a07be215777b26fe/1631588798148-ACJSNJVCILGLT85L508K/public.jpeg Testimonials - “We left our cat, Dash, in the very capable hands of Fur Baby Comfort and Care! Dash came to us as a kitten rescue during the pandemic. He was used to us being around all the time. When we began going out in public again, he would howl at the window and sit by the door until our return. Needless to say we were a bit anxious to leave him, for a number of days, alone at the house. Our Pet Care Specialist came over and met him before we left. She did a fantastic job of giving him much needed attention. Twice daily she would stop by to take care of Dash and some daily household chores, such as plants, garbage takeout, package bring in, kitty litter cleaning, etc. I really appreciated her daily communications and videos. We came home to a happy cat, happy flowers and no household problems. What a relief it is to discover we can start taking vacations again! Our fur baby and home will be just fine! Yay!” — Debbie https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61302b92a07be215777b26fe/1631588909580-NTAX9B3OUEJ6I4CKT2HC/public.jpeg Testimonials - “We are beyond impressed with Fur Baby Comfort & Care. I cannot say enough, our Pet Care Specialist went above and beyond. We went out of town for two plus weeks, and loved all the updates, pictures, and extra training she did with our crew! I have already booked two more drop-ins because I know all of our fur babies miss her so! Such a peace of mind to know that your “babies” are being cared for in the comforts of home! Extra thank you for watering plants and picking up our mail, again I cannot say enough about how excellent this service is.” — Angie https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61302b92a07be215777b26fe/1631589024753-VE5SVLMEITW20F1IULSH/public.jpeg Testimonials - “My husband and I cannot say enough nice things about Fur baby Comfort and Care! We used their services for the very first time while leaving for our wedding and from start to finish we had the best experience with this company. The owner is very nice and professional. Our Pet Care Specialist was absolutely AMAZING!! She is so, so sweet, and went above and beyond all of our expectations! We have never seen our dog so happy, which put us at ease to just be able to enjoy our wedding weekend. Our Pet Care Specialist was sure to provide us a ton of detailed updates of Tyson, so we always knew what he was up to and how he was doing. He’s an older dog so we are always worried about leaving him with new people or changing his environment which is why we chose to do care in our home. Our Pet Care Specialist made us feel comfortable right away with her staying in our home and adjusting to Tyson’s schedule. We will absolutely be using Fur Baby for any dog care we need moving forward! 10/10 worth every penny.” — Jazmine https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61302b92a07be215777b26fe/1631589149085-HX7DZUH864IT377MHNXJ/public.jpeg Testimonials - “Kit Kat, who was an outdoor cat in our neighborhood, adopted us almost 2 years ago. Whenever anyone enters our home, he usually runs under the bed and doesn't come out until our visitors leave. If he has met you a half dozen times, then he "might" be your friend. Last weekend was the first time we hired Fur Baby Comfort & Care for services and I wish I would have discovered this amazing company a year ago! Both of our Pet Care Specialists provided the best of care by communicating to us during their visits allowing us to have complete confidence in knowing all was well with our kitty, our yard and our home. Our timid kitty actually allowed belly rubs and head butts, which says it all when it comes to having a reputable company loving on your fur baby. Do not hesitate to give them a call, you will not be disappointed.” — Sue https://www.furbabycomfortandcare.com/policies-and-procedures daily 0.75 2024-10-09 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1618497259178-6XJGK9GR6YAVBQL5L519/20140301_Trade-151_012-2.jpg Policies and Procedures https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1607694583486-2PQT0LQ193RL7MCB6DX4/20140228_Trade+151_0046.jpg Policies and Procedures https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1607694644871-IC85FNH781UNZSZEGHDR/Aro+Ha_0428.jpg Policies and Procedures https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1607638148090-Y6OFDI575CM3NQV732RJ/Large+JPG-Aro+Ha_0387.jpg Policies and Procedures https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1607628784608-5D22G9GPLHDSAB2IXC2G/Large+JPG-Aro+Ha_0638.jpg Policies and Procedures https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1589847743861-GWVMBPD7Z7WQRQL9IZZ8/Large+JPG-Aro+Ha_0380.jpg Policies and Procedures https://www.furbabycomfortandcare.com/cpps-certification daily 0.75 2021-10-02 https://www.furbabycomfortandcare.com/new-client-inquiry daily 0.75 2026-10-25 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1618497259178-6XJGK9GR6YAVBQL5L519/20140301_Trade-151_012-2.jpg New Client Inquiry https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1607694583486-2PQT0LQ193RL7MCB6DX4/20140228_Trade+151_0046.jpg New Client Inquiry https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1607694644871-IC85FNH781UNZSZEGHDR/Aro+Ha_0428.jpg New Client Inquiry https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1607638148090-Y6OFDI575CM3NQV732RJ/Large+JPG-Aro+Ha_0387.jpg New Client Inquiry https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1607628784608-5D22G9GPLHDSAB2IXC2G/Large+JPG-Aro+Ha_0638.jpg New Client Inquiry https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5ec321c2af33de48734cc929/1589847743861-GWVMBPD7Z7WQRQL9IZZ8/Large+JPG-Aro+Ha_0380.jpg New Client Inquiry https://www.furbabycomfortandcare.com/home-v2 daily 1.0 2025-10-28 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61302b92a07be215777b26fe/1632149781618-SHIWLNLM5KQM42G65JNO/unsplash-image-byFmFcBqPNY.jpg Home v2 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61302b92a07be215777b26fe/1631588406747-KHU6OYIG03Q7Z3M8L81N/public.jpeg Home v2 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61302b92a07be215777b26fe/80ab99b5-3871-45b0-bdf4-469597d8d163/Group+2.jpg Home v2
