My name is Makenzie and I am a Certified Professional Pet Care Specialist with Fur Baby Comfort & Care, a professional pet sitting business that prides itself on providing peace of mind to Fur Baby owners. As a proud mother of three fur babies, I understand the importance of feeling at ease when leaving your loved ones in the care of others. When I enter your home, I always approach your furry family member with the mindset of treating them as one of my own. Growing up, I was fortunate to have owned a variety of exotic pets, including Guinea Pigs, Bunnies, Fish, Bearded Dragons, and Snakes. This diverse range of species has given me extensive knowledge in animal care beyond just cats and dogs. It was this experience that sparked my desire to become a Pet Care Specialist, and it was further solidified when I encountered subpar dog boarding services for my own fur babies. I am intimately familiar with different animal personalities, and I understand how to approach animals that may not always be welcoming to new people. I have a genuine love for learning about different animals and their unique mannerisms, whether they are furred, scaled, or feathered. This knowledge allows me to be well-versed in a multitude of animal behaviors. In my own home, I have a pup named Shadow, a Shepherd who is anxious and nervous around strangers but lovable around those he knows. I also have Mocha, a Miniature Schnauzer who is incredibly timid and experiences high separation anxiety. Having fur babies like Shadow and Mocha in my own home has allowed me to incorporate various methods of care into my Professional Pet Care career, ensuring that I can help your babies feel more comfortable and at ease. My ultimate goal is to provide a comforting, relaxed, loving, fun, reliable, and outstanding pet care experience for both you and your fur babies.
