Melissa Towner (Pet Care Specialist)

My name is Melissa and I am a Certified Professional Pet Care Specialist with Fur Baby Comfort & Care, a professional pet sitting business that prides itself on providing peace of mind to Fur Baby owners. I’ve been caring for pets since I was twelve years old, proudly serving as the neighborhood pet sitter (and babysitter) long before I began my career as a teacher. Over the past three years, I’ve returned to pet sitting for friends and neighbors, rediscovering how much joy I find in supporting families and their beloved animals. My background includes teaching, coaching, and working with competitive dancers—experiences that have shaped me into a patient, compassionate, and dependable caregiver. I’m someone with a genuinely big heart for animals, and I treat every pet in my care with the same love and attention I give my own. Outside of pet care, I enjoy reading, baking, and traveling with my family. At home, my life is full and lively thanks to my husband, our two teenage daughters, two golden doodles, and two guinea pigs.
