My name is Rae and I am a Certified Professional Pet Care Specialist with Fur Baby Comfort & Care, a professional pet sitting business that prides itself on providing peace of mind to Fur Baby owners. I am absolutely thrilled to be entrusted with the care of your precious little ones while you're away. My journey in the animal industry began in 2019, where I started off as a veterinary assistant. In late October of the same year, I proudly obtained my certification. However, due to the highly competitive job market at the time, I decided to pursue a major in Human Resource Management and Benefits Analysis. But fate had its way of leading me back to my true passion, which brought me to Fur Baby Comfort & Care! My love for animals traces back to my childhood days, where I would often be found exploring the backyard in search of snakes, frogs, and bugs. One of my fondest memories from that time was watching Steve Irwin: The Crocodile Hunter, which fueled my fascination with wildlife. While I grew up surrounded by cats, I have now become an avid dog lover. My boyfriend and I are proud owners of an Australian shepherd mix named Sage, who is a surprising couch potato despite his breed. He's been a delightful addition to our lives for about three years now. During my leisure time, I find solace in gardening, indulging in cozy video games on the Nintendo Switch, and immersing myself in captivating books. I have been residing in Commerce Township since 2021, and I must say, it has been a wonderful place to call home. When it comes to colors, purple and green hold a special place in my heart. I also have a creative side, often expressing myself through painting and sketching whenever I can spare the time. In terms of personality, I pride myself on being understanding, easy-going, and trustworthy. I have a small circle of close friendships that I cherish dearly, as I believe in nurturing lifelong connections rather than hastily forming superficial ones. The most rewarding aspect of my role at Fur Baby Comfort & Care is the opportunity to establish genuine bonds with animals, connecting with them through their unique language and engaging in playful interactions.
