Sara Burza (Pet Care Specialist)

My name is Sara, and I am a Certified Professional Pet Care Specialist with Fur Baby Comfort & Care, a professional pet sitting business that prides itself on providing peace of mind to Fur Baby owners. My passion for animals has been a lifelong journey, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I believe every pet deserves compassionate, individualized attention—just like they would receive from their own family. At home, I share my life with a lively crew of six dogs, two horses, two cats, and a tortoise. Each one brings something special to my days and constantly reminds me why I love what I do. Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of raising future Leader Dogs for the Blind, helping to prepare puppies for the incredible role of guiding individuals with visual impairments. I’m currently working with my third Leader Dog puppy, and the experience continues to inspire me with every milestone and wagging tail. I recently graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Animal Science, where I deepened my understanding of animal behavior, health, and welfare. That education, paired with hands-on experience, allows me to provide thoughtful, reliable, and loving care tailored to each pet’s needs. I love helping keep pets on their regular schedules, finding new enrichment activities to keep them happy and engaged, and even tidying up the home so everything feels fresh and welcoming when you return. When I’m not working or training, I enjoy reading and going on long walks with my dogs, exploring nature trails, and finding new ways to make each day enriching for both myself and my pets. Through Fur Baby Comfort & Care, my goal is to ensure every client feels confident knowing their pets are loved, safe, and genuinely cared for while they’re away.
