Sandy McLauchlin (Pet Care Specialist)

My name is Sandy, and I am a Certified Professional Pet Care Specialist with Fur Baby Comfort & Care, a professional pet sitting business that prides itself on providing peace of mind to fur baby owners. As your dedicated pet care specialist, my mission is to provide the same love, attention, and respect to your pets that I do to my own. I understand that every household and every animal is unique, which is why I tailor my services to meet your specific needs and preferences. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities. I strive to create a seamless experience for both pets and their people—so you can travel, work, or simply rest easy knowing your pets are in capable and caring hands. Communication is key to my care, and I make sure you’re always in the loop with thoughtful updates, photos, and videos. You’ll never have to wonder how your fur babies are doing while you’re away.
I bring years of hands-on experience in animal care. Working for veterinarians and shelters have helped me to gain a deep understanding of animal health, behavior, and safety. My background in healthcare has also strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, pay close attention to detail, and provide compassionate, individualized care. These qualities, combined with my genuine love for animals, guide every aspect of my work. I take great pride in offering dependable and heartfelt services to every client I meet. My focus is on building lasting relationships based on trust, transparency, and reliability. My goal is to always exceed expectations by providing exceptional, personalized service. Whether your pets need daily visits, overnight stays, or specialized care, I am committed to meeting them exactly where they are—physically and emotionally. At home, my husband, son, and I live with five amazing dogs: two French Bulldogs, a Chocolate Lab, and two senior rescues. Having always lived in a multi-animal household, I’m comfortable with many animals, behaviors, and temperaments; including those with medical or behavioral challenges. My home is filled with wagging tails, gentle snores, and endless love—just the way I like it. When I’m not caring for my furry clients, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends— including the furry ones, reading, gardening, vegan cooking, practicing yoga, and being outdoors. Music by mgk is also a big part of my life, as well as quiet moments in nature. Animals are my passion, my purpose, and my joy—and caring for them is truly my calling!
